That is true, although doing it en masse will be pretty rough.

[ In particular for whichever 5 people end up having to be the survivors. They'll either have to be the killers or witness a bunch of other people die en masse, and neither are pleasant scenarios. He opens his mouth about to say something but then closes it, a small bubble of feeling kind of awful. Nevermind. ]

No point in ruminating about it too much on our side, I think. Only whatever information we can send them to make it easier.

I think considering how difficult it is for them is already a baseline, is more what I mean. Ruminating overmuch on it won't let us help them any more than what we've been trying.

Don't want to overthink ourselves into becoming defeatist.

I would have believed that better... wanted to believe that better, but you've seen how Karlach and Robin have crumbled. Others like you and Rondo, deceased.

[ It's a bit rough and bleak when you watch the people who touted brightness and hope to begin with end up becoming killers and corpses. ]

But then again, they are still trekking on. That makes them stronger than most I've known.

If mortals can manage to have a change of heart in a matter of years, months, even days, then why not you?

I'm sure the people here would like to believe they've had some manner of impact on you.

[ Like making Iwatooshi learn what sex is I guess. ]

...And sometimes, after it all... even if you've changed, you can always go back to the same-old.

Still. I appreciate the times I did have.
