Pestilence gave me some lavender in a pot last week. I passed that onto Ms. Gainsborough, who's been taking care of it on my behalf. I think if it can proliferate then it'd be nice to have.
Hard to imagine staying here that long, but... maybe plants will grow abnormally fast here?
And we won’t learn anything if we don’t test the limits of this place!

Hmmm. We normally use a hoe to make the rows, and a spade to dig holes for the seeds. I’m sure we can make soom room for other crops, if we start small!
There's a shack for the animals over there. Maybe they'll keep stock of what you need -- and hopefully nowhere near as bad and rotten as the ones in the camp.
[ The shovels and stuff that broke after like one use. ]
Ha ha ha. But I don't think they always see it that way, when it comes to someone as big as me. I just have to be careful to take it slow and not make any sudden moves around them.
[ Cute. Their resident optimist. If anything happens to Iwatooshi the cabinfolk are killing everyone in this camp and then themselves. ]
I guess the boisterousness is probably the cause... it'll be fine as long as you, yeah, don't make any sudden moves and stuff.
Animals usually are pretty good about perceiving intentions, I think. Not that it means they'll come close to you, but they'd sooner flee if they sensed something bad.

Some of them are out of season, if the weather’s anything to go by. The normal rules of agriculture must not matter here at all!

What tools do you need for garden work? As I said, I'm not much for physical labour but if you need any assistance, I'd be willing to lend a hand.

Your features are a bit sharp, but you're usually smiling.

But I suppose we don't need to get too close to work in the garden, anyway... maybe it'll be fine.

You're just minding your own business. No reason for them to bother you.

I'll do my best! [ ... ] We should still try to find the way back, though!

Oh, right. If you've had your fill then, let's figure it out.
