Generally speaking, what I do with teenagers is mess with them. Kate doesn't need that five minutes after waking up here.
[She's such a bully towards teens of Kate's age, haha. Back home she had a reputation as a devil because of that, and she was only so much happy to play along for her own amusement.
The way she befriended Karma sincerely shows she can get along with teens but also she knows very well comforting teens isn't in her skillset]
