We found a door in this building. It was boarded up, but we broke in and went together. That place was out to kill us, from the start. We had barely crossed the doorway when it locked us in.

We weren't, but Karma wasted no time in tearing the leg off a table to use as a weapon. We also found in there a couple medallions and other items that were...holy in nature. Evil-warding.
Given the things we faced were all curses and evil things, they were by far the best weapons one could ask for.
[Shoving those medallions at things was very helpful, but sure didn't spare them from scares and injuries]
It was... [Erin is silent for a moment, gathering her courage] At first it was a very normal apartment. Fog outside, no way out, we poked around. I found a note that said there'd be a way out in the bathroom. Then Karma punched through a wall and in there, there were these...fleshy baby growth things grabbing at him.
From there on it was like the place was melting. Weird slime seeped all over the walls and ceiling, like acid, and Karma and I got running, trying to avoid things like a false Karma screaming outside the apartment and some entity making its way in through the TV.
[She's not done yet but so far it sure serves as an idea of the kind of situation Karma and her were in.
If it hadn't been for Karma having died, she'd add Karma was very stubborn to work with, but...as things stand, she can't bring herself to speak ill of his actions in there. Erin blames herself for not having kept him safer]

Then, we were in Scawwy. It looked normal, like nothing was wrong. In the cabin...we found Kate. I guess Karma lowered his guard, because while I got the rock from inside the cabin Kate had already clamped on Karma like a bear trap.
[Having been killed by something that looked like Kate can't have helped Karma feel any better, especially when it turns out she was the culprit of another murder. Geez]
...no. I'm not fine. I had to watch Karma die again, right in front of me -- and this time I wasn't possessed. I tried to keep that kid safe, and failed at the very last second. It's awful, Iwatooshi.
[She was feeling guilty for having killed Karma, and now she feels even more guilty, now that she failed to keep him safe. Karma died literal three or four seconds before the break-in ended]
